AI Hub is an applied research centre within Durham College that helps public and private organizations solve real problems with data, machine learning, and automation. Projects pair industry partners with faculty and student researchers to design prototypes, validate approaches, and transfer solutions into production settings.
Responsibilities
- Contributed to applied-research projects that explored how machine-learning techniques can address real-world healthcare challenges.
- Cleaned and annotated datasets with Python and pandas, automating extraction where feasible.
- Trained baseline models with scikit-learn and visualized findings in Tableau and Matplotlib.
- Prepared client-ready reports.
